How to Attract Money – Joe Vitale and Robert Kiyosaki’s Wisdoms

Attracting Money

Let’s get to the point: Attracting wealth doesn’t require some weird mantra. The Law of Attraction does work, but sitting down and practicing visualization alone are not enough to attract wealth.

You can attract money if you re-program your mindset, and you can only attract money by taking action because the word “act” is in the word “attract”.

If you haven’t read Joe Vitale’s Attract Money Now, I recommend you do it right now because it’s free. If you have, but you still want to learn more, here are some simple steps on how to attract wealth, as revealed in Joe Vitale and Steve G. Jones’ Wealth Trigger Reloaded audio program. Later on, we will also discuss on how to “attract money” from Robert Kiyosaki by increasing your financial IQ:

1. Focus on Attracting More Money

The key here is to focus on attracting money so that you will be able to easily find ideas to make more money. However, it doesn’t mean that you have to be obsessed about making money. It means that you have to keep positive thoughts, as well as focusing on what you’re going to do and what you’re going to get.

If you’re focusing on desperation, then you will only attract more money problems instead. If you’re focusing on making more money, money-making ideas will show up. If that happens, you should act fast because money likes speed.

2. Save Your Money

Joe says in Wealth Trigger Reloaded that a lot of people think that the money they have in their hands is just it. That is a scarcity mindset. The truth is that the world doesn’t stop spinning and they don’t realize that more money is actually coming towards them.

It is true that saving money alone can’t make you rich because money drops in value, so that’s why Robert Kiyosaki advices that you hold your savings in gold and silver.
But the point of saving money for your future is to psychologically tell your subconscious mind that you have enough money to spend, invest, give, and save.

3. Invest Your Money

This way, you can grow your money faster. For this, you can learn about investing from books such as Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing. If you don’t want to learn it, you can also look for trusted financial advisers to help you.

4. The most powerful of all - Give Your Money Away

You can’t get what you don’t give. Giving is actually the most powerful principle of attracting money. Joe even reveals in The Greatest Money Making Secret in History that the secret of making money is in fact giving. However, you need to make sure that you should only give without expecting any rewards from the person you are giving to. Let God, or the Universe or whatever you want to call it, give you the rewards.
In Wealth Trigger Reloaded program, clinical hypnotherapist Steve G. Jones actually also provides some hypnosis techniques and a hypnotherapy session so that you can change and re-program your mindset about wealth and money. If you haven’t got the program, you can go here to get it.

Now since Joe and Steve are not financial experts, here are some other steps you can take to attract money from Robert T. Kiyosaki. The following steps are from his book, Rich Dad’s Increase Your Financial IQ:

1. Know How to Make Money

Robert says that it doesn’t mean that you should learn how to be an entrepreneur or how to sell. Attracting wealth by improving your financial intelligence #1, making money, means that you should know your passion, or decide what the best way for you to make money is.

Another thing to remember is that you will always find problems in making money. They just won’t go away. Therefore, what you should do is keep solving those problems because each time you successfully solve a problem, that process will make you richer.

2. Know How to Protect Your Money

In addition to attracting wealth, of course protecting the money you already have right now is important. Robert says that protecting your wealth can be done by staying away from poor brokers and poor financial advisors, as well as becoming a customer of businesses that make you rich. This includes using your money to subscribe to financial magazines.

3. Know How to Budget Your Money

Attracting wealth can also be done by creating a budget surplus. The key to create a budget surplus is by making a surplus an expense. This means that you should focus on paying yourself first (saving, investing, tithing), instead of paying other people first (expenses). Here are some expenses that can make you rich:

· Donating to charity

· Savings

· Buying books on investing, self improvement, etc

· Paying for seminars

4. Know How to Leverage Your Money

This means that you should know how to make more money with less effort. In order to attract money, you can use various leverages, including good debt (using other people’s money) and the other financial intelligences (making more money, protecting your money, budgeting, leveraging, and information).

5. Know How to Improve Your Financial Information

Robert always says that you don’t need money to make money. To attract wealth, what you need is the right information. This includes knowing trends such as the price of gold so you know when to buy and when to sell. In this information age, even young entrepreneurs (Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook, etc) can make a lot of money with inexpensive resources.

How You Can Get Lucky In Business – Learn from Rakuten CEO, Hiroshi Mikitani

Photo by Tim Geers on Flickr

You may have never heard of Rakuten Ichiba before.

If so, then let me tell you that you can call it “Japan’s Amazon”. In fact, Rakuten now has expanded to various countries in the world, including Brazil and Indonesia. The company has been listed at number 7 for the most innovative company in the world according to Forbes.

Rakuten’s CEO, Hiroshi Mikitani, is not selfish. He is willing to share his tips on to be successful in business from his experience of growing the company.

From his blog on LinkedIn, Mikitani once shared some tips on how you can be a lucky person. You know, often times when you see someone being successful, other people will say that he/she is “just lucky”.

But what does luck mean?

You may have heard the wise words that say “luck is when opportunity meets preparation”. Or, that “the harder you work, the luckier you get”.

Well, Mikitani has another thing to say. There’s a secret of how you can actually be “lucky” and successful in whatever it is you are doing now (in my case it’s making money from blogging J).

Ready to find out what the secret is?

First of all, you can only achieve success from the accumulation of 0.01% improvements over and over and over again. So if that is the case, it is very difficult for someone to be “just lucky”, right?

So that’s the secret.

The answer is to move forward and keep improving 0.01% at a time until you reach 100%. It’s not merely trying to work harder and more often, but to keep improving every single time.

The key here is that you should be an “action oriented” person.

There’s another lesson from him that I’d like to share: to get lucky, you need to be fast.

According to the Japanese billionaire, time is much more important than skill. It’s a matter of how efficiently you do what you do, so you should think, decide, and act quickly.

Failure will always come up your way, but if you move swiftly you can fail and get up faster than anyone else.

(Note: Rakuten Indonesia is holding an SEO competition - Toko online murah, serba ada Barang unik Jepang -, I'd appreciate your support :-))

Which Is Better - Being An Introvert or an Extrovert?

introvert vs extrovert

It doesn’t matter whether you’re an introvert or extrovert (also known as “extravert”).

Extroverted people are not better than introverted ones, and vice versa.

So if you come here because you feel there’s something wrong with you for being introverted, change your point of view right now. There is nothing wrong with you.

You’re not anti-social either, no matter what they say.

If you prefer reading your favorite book rather than partying, that’s ok. You don’t need to pretend what you’re not, and look for ways on “how to go from an introvert to an extrovert”.

Actually, no one is purely an introvert or extrovert. You should have some extroverted side too, even though the other side is more dominant.

If you think that you are weak and you have to be outgoing, talkative, etc to succeed, let’s take a look at these facts.

Introvert Vs Extrovert

Susan Cain, an introvert, wrote a great book called Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World Which Can’t Stop Talking. If you haven’t read it, go buy it now.

According to Cain,

The introverted can:

  • Be more empathetic, because we generally love reading.
  • Be a better listener (this is also needed in the selling profession!)
  • Tend to do tasks more slowly but more cautiously and deliberately.
  • Have better concentration and make smarter decisions.
  • Be a great leader, because we tend to be motivated by a larger goal, instead of spotlight.
  • Be happier, because a study by Matthias Mehl, Ph.D from the University of Arizona found that those who are the happiest participate in far less small talk compared to the unhappiest. But of course, that doesn’t mean that extroverts are unhappy.
  • etc
If those are the introvert advantages, you should already know about the advantages of being an extrovert, right?

Plus, we are living in an extroverted world, the world that can’t stop talking as Cain says. But to make it clearer that both introvert and extrovert can both be good, I’d like to give my own examples:

The extroverted can:
  • Have a higher self-esteem.
  • Do well in careers dealing with people such as selling (although introverts can be as good).
  • Break unwanted relations easily.
  • Be more active and practical.
  • Adapt to new situations better and more quickly.
  • Tend to do tasks more quickly and make fast decisions,
  • etc
So the point is that never underestimate the power of introvert. I am an introvert, and proud of being one. Here's one TED talk about being "quiet" given by Susan Cain, which is one of my favorite talks, where she got a standing ovation:

Be yourself, appreciate and maximize your strengths.

By the way, just like most introverts, I like reading. Personally I like to read personal development materials, including Bob Proctor’s 11 Forgotten Laws :-) Awesome stuff.

Miracle Mind Method - Not Miraculous at All

Is it that miraculous?
My rating: 2/5

Review by Elsa Sakina, July 13, 2012

I was immediately attracted to the neat sales page graphic, and when the video played, I was glued. Plus, I saw that some of my Facebook friends "liked" it.

Maybe you felt the same way when you landed on the sales page.

The video presentation was delivered attractively, it's not just some guy reading a text on the screen.

Considering how professional the physical appearance of the website was, I expected Miracle Mind Method to be as great.

But I was wrong.

After I went to the download area and checked out the products, here are some facts I can give you:

1. What is this product about?

Miracle Mind Method is an information product. It is basically about using the "power of your mind" to raise your consciousness and achieve your goals.

2. Who is the creator?

It's Chris Cains, but honestly I couldn't really find who he really is. He didn't even put his photo.

It's stated that he is a "success coach" and "speaker", but I couldn't find the proof. Maybe it's just his pen name, or maybe it's not. I truly don't know.

All I know is that he is an Internet marketer who has a product called "Miracle Mind Method", and he has partnered with other online marketers to create and/or promote it.

3. What's inside the member's area?

There are some downloads:

a. There are 14 PDF files (7 notes and 7 worksheets) each with 7 audio companions.

If you ask me about the audios, honestly I think the quality isn't that good. It's not recorded professionally, maybe just a person talking in front of his computer, so different from Joe Vitale's The Awakening Course or other audiobooks you can purchase online.

b. You will also get a "Personal Success Journal" PDF, which is a 4-page PDF to help you focus on your goals. There are columns you can fill out with your own achievements, progress, etc.

c. A "Quick Start Guide" PDF. Like its name, it's a quick 11-page guide about the whole Miracle Mind Method program.

d. Miracle Mind Method Trigger Cards.

They are 7 PDF mind maps, just like Tony Buzan's one.

There are quiet a lot of materials there, but to me they're boring and seem like a "school homework".

3. The price?

On the original page it says $37. But try leaving the page, and you might get discounts (I tried it, and it went down to $17).

But it doesn't stop there. If you click the buy button, Chris will upsell you with "Super Achiever Coaching Club" ($47 per month) and "Golden Inner Circle" ($30 per month - I don't know what they are, didn't buy them.

4. What if I bought and didn't like it?

Just ask for a refund to Clickbank, the payment processor. They will most likely refund your purchase if you ask within 60 days.

5. Conclusion?

I personally don't recommend it.

For me, nothing beats The Awakening Course. If you want to buy something, then make sure it is from someone that is credible, not some unknown person claiming to be a coach.

But of course, it's up to you.
